Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
20 September to 8 October 2021
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Youths gain entry to the new build at Whitby Hall and remove boarding to door inside the property. 3 fire extinguishers taken.  
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:
  • Whitby
  • Woodland Road – Bench thrown through the window of the ‘Woodlands’ public house. – Names suspect.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Whilst attending the fair rose gold IPhone 12 taken from bag.
  • Woodland Road – Insecure black Carrera mountain bike taken from outside ‘McColls'.
  • Chester Road – Over consecutive days 4 bikes, which had all been secured, have been taken from outside ‘Ellesmere Port Hospital’.  These include a Cube Ascent electric bike and Carrera mountain bike. – No further details at this time.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:
  • Whitby
  • Longlooms Road – 2 wheels removed from car on forecourt of ‘Porsche’ centre during overnight period.
