scam Warning: DPD Local scam text messages
Halton Trading Standards wishes to warn consumers of DPD Local scam text messages regarding rescheduling their parcels. If you have missed a parcel from DPD, you may receive a text message. The key point to note is the website link in the text message is a scam, the difference between this and the genuine DPD website addresses are subtle, but they make all the difference. Clicking the link in the text message will simply take you to a scam website which require you to provide your personal details and banking details and will not assist you in getting your parcel.

Report any suspicious text messages to the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre by forwarding them to 7726 (this is free of charge).
