Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
18 to 26 July 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • St. Pauls
  • Green Lane – Property entered via breaking locks on French doors.  Nothing appears taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Woodfield Road – Brick thrown at window causing it to shatter.
  • Whitby Road – Drunken male, ejected from ‘Crunchy Fired Chicken’ punches glass in door causing it to smash. – Male arrested.
  • Magdalene Walk – Rock thrown at kitchen window causing it to smash.
  • Dudley Road – Brick thrown through living room window.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Bottle thrown at window causing it to smash. – Male arrested.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Fence post on boundary fencing has section cut off.
  • Grange
  • Festival Road – CCTV ripped from housing and damaged.
  • Pooltown Road – Front window of property smashed.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Grange
  • Norley Avenue – Blue Cannondale trial 6 taken from back garden.
  • The Boulevard – Blue mountain bike, with black writing on taken from outside address. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Grove – Vauxhall Vivaro mini bus entered by unknown means and taxi radio, float and jacket taken from within.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Unknown object thrown from bushes hits windscreen on Mini Cooper causing it to smash.
  • Neston
  • Chester Road – Citroen C1, parked on long stay car park has windscreen smashed.
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Kia Sportage scratched along length of vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Stamford Street – Kia Picanto 2 has wing mirror ripped off by passing male.
