Cheshire Horse Watch

Alert message sent 03/07/2020 19:33:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Good evening.
A couple of incidents to make you aware of this week, both in the Chester area..

Two vehicles were seen at a yard in Huxley at approx. 23:30hrs. The yard was checked and was all in order.

Tack was stolen from an unsecure shed in the Malpas area between 27th and 29th June.

Over the last few weekends we have been attending locations such as Delamere Forest, Whitegate Way, Marbury Park, Teggs nose with many more to come. We have been bringing the Rural and Wildlife trailer to use as a base to talk to the public about all things rural and Horse watch has been a big part of this. It has been lovely speaking to so many horse riders enjoying the countryside.

If you follow the rural crime team on social media you will see my post about rider and driver safety whilst out using the roads. Road safety is something we will be working on more and I am in communication with the BHS about this.

As always, let me know of anything and continue to report incidents via 101 or online.
Kind regards
Rural Crime Team
