Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
4th to 16th May 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Rossmore
  • Myrtle Street – Unknown male has access roof of business premises.  Attempt made to force open the shutters causing alarm to sound.  Male has left prior to police arrival.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ruthin Court – Telegraph pole set alight.
  • Doune Court – Brick thrown through window.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Newtown – Hardwood gate to residential property has ‘CW’ scratched into it.
  • Netherpool
  • Plemston Court – Living room window smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Seacombe Drive – During the early hours of the morning a 13 ton Caterpillar excavator, carrying out construction work on park set a light, leaving it completely burnt out.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dudley Road – Red mountain bike taken from front garden.
  • Whitby Road – Whilst in the process of painting the exterior of the ‘William Jessop’ PH tin of masonry paint taken – Named suspect.
  • Victory Court – 5 solar lights taken from front garden.
  • Strawberry
  • Crofters Heath – Black Carrera Prava mountain bike, secured to lamp post taken after lock cut.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Hampton Court – Front door key left in door taken.
  • Parkgate
  • Church Lane – During the early hours if the morning unknown male, wearing a white padded jacket, entered front garden with a wheelbarrow and removed garden chair.
  • Moorside Lane – Several plants removed from planter in grounds of the ‘United Reformed Church’.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • King Street – Land Rover Range Rover entered by unknown means and pair of sunglasses taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – VW Polo has rear window prised open. Nothing taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Fiat 500 has drivers door handle broken.
Other incidents of note…
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stolen motorbike - Kennilworth Court – Aprilia Shiver, AE09 AEO taken after access gained into shed.  – Discovered in Delamere, Cheshire on 5th May.
