Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
25th April to 3rd May 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Rossmore
  • Indigo Road – Vehicle displaying foreign registration plates entered the business yard of ‘Cromwell Autos’ and load a plastic IBC, filled with screen wash and a petrol whizzer into vehicle before driving off. 
  • Parkgate
  • Cross Street – Building currently under renovation entered and entry gained into internal unit.  Six boxes of building parts, including roof tile fixings taken.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Secure construction site entered and two x portable cabins taken.  Contained within these were a 40K Generator, housed in a power box, 1000 m fuel plant bowser and two photocopiers.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Lancaster Gardens – Unsuccessful attempt to prise open the garage door causing damage to it.
  • Kenilworth Court – Padlock on gate cut off to access rear of property and padlock then cut off shed to gain access.  Aprilia Shiver, AE09 AEO taken from a shed after its security chain cut off. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Clayhill Green – Mobility scooter, chained up in rear garden taken after access gained via an insecure gate and chain cut through. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Whitby
  • Heath Avenue – Brick thrown through a front window.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Brick thrown through communal window of flats.
  • Westminster Road – Brick thrown through window of residential property.  Windows blinds also damaged.
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Chester High Road – Vehicle entered garage forecourt and upon realising the petrol station was closed has caused damage to gates whilst reversing to leave.
  • Neston
  • Long Acres Road – Damage to fencing around mast caused by unknown.
  • St. Pauls
  • Sheepfield Close – Large slab thrown through window.
  • Whetstone Hey – 3ft long piece of iron piping thrown over boundary hedge into allotments.  Piping has speared the roof of a nearby shed causing damage.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Denhall Lane – Cube electric bike, secured to gate taken after the security chain cut off. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kennilworth Court – Aprilia Shiver, AE09 AEO taken after access gained into shed.  
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Whilst parked in car park of ‘Sainsburys’ Range Rover Sport has rear offside tyre punctured buy an shark object being pushed into the tyre wall.
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – VW Passat, parked in the car park of ‘Tesco’ scratched along the passenger doors on both side of the vehicle.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berwick Grove – Ford Kuga has three tyres damaged leaving them all flat.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road – Vauxhall Astra, parked in car park of Rossmore Court has all of the windows smashed by two unknown males.
  • Hillside Drive – Audi A3 scratched along drivers side.
  • Sutton
  • Budworth Road – BMW 318i has brick thrown at window.
