Welcome to the October to November 2019 Chester City & Newtown Newsletter!

Residents in the St. Anne's area of Newtown in Chester City Centre having been working hard on cleaning up the area to prevent crime and ASB by taking part in the Greener Space initiative, sadly it was reported that a large group of youths had ruined the good work after tipping over plant pots and destroying flowers in hanging baskets. Please keep a watchful eye out and report any ASB or damage observed.

Our work in schools continues, over October we visited children on their lunch break using the time to engage, we are working closely with the new Head on providing a School Police Surgery for safety messages to be heard!
Over November we are visiting our school in relation to a knife crime and county lines presentation to raise awareness.

Our Police Surgeries continue, look at our website, Facebook and Twitter pages for further details. Our Chester Market evening Police surgery in proving popular for crime prevention advice and free goodies!

Do you have any concerns about road safety in the area? Please feel free to contact us in regards to a location you feel needs attention.

We got through both Halloween and Bonfire night without much issue on the beat, PCSOs were on foot patrol targeting ASB to reduce and deter incidents affecting the community.
