Off road bikes
Over the past month there was a large amount of off road bikes around Halton Castle and Castlefields. Reports show that they are using the busway around the Village square with several reports around the area of Caesars Close.
We had a large gathering of bikes in and around the area at the beginning of September. We have identified a large portion of the riders who took part in this. Please feel free to provide any additional information on any off road bike users as it will help us catch the offenders.
Op Scrambler, which is aimed at tackling off road bikes, is still ongoing.
Anti-Social Behaviour
This month regarding ASB there have been a large amount of reports of off road bikes around the Halton Castle and Castlefields area. Other ASB is being caused by groups of youths around the Village Square area with the shops in this area being hit hardest. We will continue to show a presence in and around the areas and deal with any incident we come across.
Please continue to report any Anti-Social Behaviour via 101.

Roads Policing
Officers have been out with the TruCam (Speed Camera) in the area of Castlefields Avenue East this month with a number of drivers not adhering to the 30 mph speed limit. (It’s 30 for a reason). Along with being on Castlefields East, officers have been on Castlefields Avenue South there were very large amounts of drivers who weren’t sticking to the speed limits, the highest recorded speed was 40 MPH. (It’s 20 for a reason).  
Schools in the area will continue to be regularly visited by the local PCSO to assist with parking issues etc.
Suspicious Activity
There have been various different reports of suspicious activity over the past month around the whole area of Halton Castle, all these incidents are being looked into and there has been more regular patrols in the areas which have been affected.
Please continue to report anything you deem as suspicious or out of place via 101.
