News Bulletin

Runcorn Local Policing Unit, Halton Brook

July 2019

Local Crime

There has been a reoccurrence of instances of criminal damage to fences around the estate, some reported and some just put on social media. It is important that all instances get reported formally as there may be CCTV opportunities I can explore to identify the offenders.
There has also been an incident of damage to a vehicle with a windscreen being smashed. This doesn’t appear to be linked to the other criminal damage incidents.

There have still been sightings of illegal motorbikes, coming onto the estate but again these are being posted on social media rather than reported via 101 or via our LPU email address (below). We are still appealing to residents to contact us in confidence either via the social media private messaging channels, via 101 or at our LPU email address RUNCORN.LPU@CHESHIRE.PNN.POLICE.UK if they have any information about nuisance motorbikes are stored or who is riding them.

Roads Policing

Tru-Cam speed enforcement has been conducted a number of times on Halton Road and Boston Avenue. If there are any roads that you think require our attention with the camera please get in touch and let me know by social media or email.
